A typical day at school, is a long one for Vietnamese children. It starts early at 7am or so, with a break at home in the middle to beat the heat of the day, followed by a few more hours of lessons. Whilst food is provided, I see a lot of doting mums feeding pho to their children through the tall school gates near my husband’s family home.

This is so funny and sweet, she’s probably passing some snacks but I can imagine the Mums feeding noodles with chop sticks through the bars. Lovely photo.
